ChemOil-Away™ for Emergency Service Providers
Principal considerations in emergency response activities is the protection of response workers and protection of property and the environment. Responders frequently use sorbent pads, pillows and socks; yet frequently the use of bulk sorbent is preferred. Use of ChemOil-Away provides advantages that include:

  • Effective capture of free liquids from hard surfaces such as concrete and asphalt
  • Effective capture of free liquids from cracks in hard surfaces and from surficial soil spills
  • Control of toxic vapor release
  • Control of flammable vapor release

Responders open a bag of COA and apply a line of bulk sorbent at the perimeter of the spill area in order to prevent the further spread of released material. Sorbent is then spread toward the center of the spill so that not only is the spilled material captured, but a safe, non-slippery, non-contaminating surface is provided for capture and recovery efforts in the spill area.  For additional information regarding ChemOil-Away for Emergency Service Providers, please contact us today!
